I was at DC on Saturday. We got there pretty early, 10ish and it was very mellow and nice. 5 or 6 cars at the ranch, maybe 15 folks or so at the springs. As the day went on more and more folks arrived and when we left mid afternoon it must have been 50 or more. There was a Young Natuiralist group that arrived just before we left. We passeed at least 10 more folks hiking down as we were going up. Unlike some days in sumeer when it is a tough crwod, Saturday was very mellow with a very nice crowd and good conversation. I would say probably 50% naturists and nearly all good hot springers..... except for the lousy group that left an old ice chest filled with trash about half way up the trail to Bowen Ranch . We got it up to the forest service trail parking lot at least. The parking lot at Bowen was filled an there were several tents set up. There were at least 5 cars parked in the upper part of the ranch above the bad road.
