HESPERIA — The off-highway motor vehicle extension of the California Department of Parks and Recreation will present an environmental overview Wednesday night of a disputed plan to designate trails for OHV use in a portion of the San Bernardino National Forest.
Officials will accept input from the public on the project that has angered some who have suggested that legalizing off-road paths in the area of the Cajon Pass and Baldy Mesa, north of Highway 138 near Interstate 15, will merely create an “attractive nuisance.”
