Genericusername, if at all possible, avoid parking your vehicle anywhere near the dam. Several vehicles have been vandalized and it happens all the time. You may want to reconsider and go to the springs via Bowen Ranch Trail or Bradford Ridge trail. Plus a LOT shorter hike also!
