Genericusername,
On your next hike in try hiking in from Deep creek rd. On the south end of this road is Power Line road. Just under the power lines too. It is about 1/2 mile before Deep creek rd. ends. When you get to the top of the hill turn right. Go one mile and turn right again. After 1 mile is the Freedom trail head parking area. It is 1.2 miles to the springs. It is legal to camp there for up to 15 days. It is a 870 foot change in elevation down to the springs. And a fire permit is required for one. The trail is on the south side of the parking area near some large boulders. There are many large camping spots nearby in every direction.
Enjoy !
