Wind sailor, that's the best news I've ever seen on this forum! Thanks to any and all people who contacted the Forest Service about the need to come down to the springs, take care of the trash, break up fire rings, and ticket illegal campers. My sister is jubilant because she is one of the folks who called the FS and encouraged them to go down there with a crew to take care of business. I think the FS also took seriously the threats that butthole Nathan Walloch made about lighting the trash pile on fire was gas cans. I hope the Forest Service continues to make frequent visits to the springs and also coordinate with all the regular Deep Creek users who cherish this place and never want to see it go to a permit system,or worse yet, shut down.
