Paul, The riff raff you speak of come through the Bowen Ranch in numbers that far exceed any that go around the ranch on various routes. If you doubt this, then go and ask the people you see doing things at DCHS we would describe as " bad " , and then, ask them where they came in from. If you would take the time to do this you would see that I am right. This is one of the questions I ask people when having conversations with them at the springs. I have done this for years. Also, over the years, I have parked at all the possible locations to access the springs from the northside of Deep Creek. The only place I ever saw more than a couple of cars was at the Forestry parking lot along the Bowen trail, and this was in times before the Willow fire. Now the Forestry parking lot is seldom used because it is much harder to access and you need a 4 wheel drive vehicle to get there and back out. People have thier head in the sand when they try and propose that if everyone accessed the springs through the Bowen Ranch then there would be no troubles down at DCHS. I know however there are those who would like to convince us this is true.
