Went to the springs on Sunday and was amazed at the amount or people that were camping there. As I first arrived there was a group camped at the contemplation pool and pretty much dominating that space. The worst part is they had a fire going to cook something??? huh fire, these people are trashing this place. Anyway there were many more camp areas set up along the stream and I fear that most probably left something behind. Most all the groups were young and with youth there is a lack of common sence and respect for things, that is sort of amazing. A famous quote comes to mind, common sence is not common. For the most part everyone was nice and there was a nice group from USC that hiked in for the day and seemed to be having a good time. I do fear for the wellbeing of the springs with all the campers and their amazing stupidity with fires and trash.
