Hot Springs trip

I am planning a trip to the hot springs this week, Thursday or Friday, through Bowen ranch. I have heard that the hill from the ranch down to the parking lot has gotten pretty bad. I only have a two wheel drive mini van and am wondering if I should just park up the hill by the ranch house or down in the parking lot. I've taken this van many times before and never had a problem. How bad is the hill?
