Great report! Sad to hear about the trash piling up, others told me about this over the past weekend. Everyone who reads this forum, lurkers and visitors, please take at least one bag of trash out with you when you leave. Pick up one big bag of whatever you find. And hike it out.
Usually we hope for the floods and rains to wash out the creek basin. Sounds like it caused the many campers to abandon items down there.
