Re: Trip Report June 20-21st. "Gross!"

I am not going to leave any more bags for people to carry unless I tape a sign to the bags saying something like:
There is no trash services at the springs. Do not add your trash to these bags - these bags are what volunteers picked up
after inbred nitwits. Please help the springs by carrying some of it.

P.M. me the wording if you feel strongly about it.

Coming to think of it... if you are visitng to the springs in the next few days, please bring a marker, few sheets of paper and some tape and make few signs taping them to the bags.

I came on Sat to find the nude beach area and upstream areas comletely trashed. I spent several hours collecting
trash and guilt talking people into volutering. Some folks relocated some bags to the other side of the creek.
I'd like to find out if they carried some of the bags out on Sunday.
I know some groups that came for the weekend are going to.
In any case when I left there were probably 8 bags on one side and 4-5 bags on the other. I actually run out of bags so I
could not split one heavy full bag hunging from the sign. I also did not want to bag any article of clothing scattered all around the nude
beach area. Some shoes were $100+ Merrels and there were several Levy's jeans and expensive shirts. There was a bunch of towels, Victoria Secret
undergarments, swimsuits, blankets etc. I am not sure what happened to the owners. I hope they return to pick up all that drek left behind.

By the way, what happened to the sign that said, "Deep Creek volunteers, please carry the trash nitwits left" ?
