Naked Man, I stated in my post " There is no way to know without specific evidence if these incidents are just random violence or some ones agenda. " . I can say that I have heard a number of stories from people who access through the Bowen Ranch in which they tell me how Mike Castro is very upset that people are going around the ranch and he is also upset about the JF3 trail. I find the circumstances of the vandalism on route 3 and 4 to be suspicious. The last one in which someone at around 1 Am shoots a bullet through the windows of Jobes car and does not steal anything. It is possible that these shot out and broken windows have been done as a tactic to scare people off the open routes and back to the " saftey " of the Bowen Ranch. Specific evidence of who has done these things has not been produced so our ideas about who might have done these things is conjecture. Your ideas, and mine. I park at the JF3 trailhead so these incidents do concern me. I would like to think that I could go for a relaxing soak at the springs and then come back to my car unharmed on the open public route where I park. Some one or some people are making that not the case, and thats unfortunate.
