The centennial state. Aside from the Pacific Coast, the only other place I have enjoyed living at. A bit inconvenient as you need to adjust all your recipes due to altitude and breathe a bit harder but I appreciate less population density. Would rather have it saturated with wildlife rather than people. Still frequent NV, which is where I am this weekend and still do some work in LA, half remote.
I was considering the San Diego area for a long time and made some great friends there, but the residents of Coronado, which is where I was looking, let me down by voting against Prop E so I thought it best to avoid neighborly feuds ... just kidding ... kind of, I wouldn't fit in very well :-) I guess it didn't go over too well as my real estate agent and I disagreed on many things including the latter. I basically left the place by quoting a certain former Harvard president that if folks think education is expensive, try ignorance.
