Coming from Redlands, is it better to go the 15 to 138 to 173, or over the mountain through Arrowhead to the 173. Also, can the hike be a free hike?
What kind of time up and back? And lastly, if your looking for a less crowded area is the creek better upstream or downstream from the hot springs? Any help is appreciated.
