Windmills and Transmission Lines

As a distant neighbour to the hot springs I would like to bring this project to your attention.

There is a proposal from E.ON to put 40 - 70 windmills on the ridges North of the hot springs area, on BLM land.
To support this project SCE have a proposal to build a 106 acre sub station in Apple Valley Milpas/Desert View area. The transmission lines will connect/follow the already large power lines heading to Lugo Station in Hesperia. As you drive up Bowen Rch road you will have seen these huge power lines, imagine more and windmills.

Local residents are forming an organization and we need as much help as possible, to preserve the beauty of the area, wildlife, our property values and rural living lifestyle.
