Rumor has it that it will take effect June 1st until second week of September. All trails in and out blocked to accommodate an environmental impact assessment. Heard it from someone with BLM oversight. However, to compensate Mike has agreed to convert ten donated old bath tubs for those that wish to still visit and enjoy a soak during the disruption. However, if had to guess, likely the real reason is to continue cash collections in light of an anticipated drop in number of visitors.
