" Don't have the knowledge myself of how to begin to think about repairs ". Hire a giant helicoptor to carry a cement truck up there and position it over the AZ pool, then drop the full load of cement! That should seal up all the leaks, finally ; ) Jobe talked about bringing his come-a-long down and dragging all the big boulders to the wall, upstream side, positioning them as well as possible then cementing them into place. Unfortunately that pool is low down, right in the main flood channel so it gets blasted by big floods along with the logs and boulders they toss around, as well as the churning flood waters undermining a pool like that which is basically various large boulders sitting on solid granite below. Thats whats nice about the Contemplation Pool, as its completely out of the way of any flood impacts, easy, low maintenance : )
Regarding that big sand bank underwater in the creek lagoon you mentioned about NeoGeo, out in front of the Womb, I was checking that out last week, walking it from side to side, and depending on how well it holds up there might be the possibility of placing some sandbags across the top of it from the granite point by the Crab Cooker to the other granite point aross the creek pool it goes to, which would create a huge warm pool like was done many years ago by the Unknown Sand Bagger ; )
