Those big boulders in the Arizona Pool on its upstream side were there already. Before the recent flood that area was under a bank of sand, and the rushing water washed away the sand and exposed them. The AZ pool having all the sand in and around it scoured away, has lots of leaks now. Its pool level has been dropping with the creek level....... Lyn's half wolf dog got out of her yard and died, apparently getting hit by a vehicle while roaming free on the city streets. Nice trip report NeoGeo, I was there at Deep Creek the day before your adventure : )
