Paul here is one more advantage to Vimeo. The video I made below is comprised of 12.6 GB of final audio and footage, shot at 1080p at 30 fps. Compressed it is 1.3 GB. Vimeo's algorithms maintain HD while streaming at best possible rate. For example, despite the 1.3 GB size, I'm able to still watch it in HD on my phone and as such without pixelation, which cannot be said about YouTube. Of course, this point will be non-consequential in 10 years when we'll have much more wireless bandwidth and rely less on compression, hopefully.
