This is kind of neat as well. For historical trips, you have all the messages exchanged in your online inbox, part of their online portal. Each message you sent out has coordinates stored. So when I click on the "Map" link beside the message I sent out last week during our hike, it shows me on the tracking map which location I sent it from.
