billison,
There are many trees on the Bradford ridge path to Deep creek. Almost every canyon along that path has trees suitable for hammock camping. My favorite camping spot is @ 1 & 1/2 a mile from the springs along that path. When it is a rainy year there is a spring that gushes large volumes of water that appear at a place called the Bradford spring. It is dry this year, because of no rain. But in wet years there are flowers and bees and a beautiful canopy there.
Up hill from that spring is a flat and level box canyon but no trees. I used to have a flat spot there for my tent, but it has been over grown for years. But all the canyons up and down from that spot are really pretty with trees.
Good Luck and please help with the trash PROBLEM at Deep Creek.
