Apparently Jim Bass is an amateur herpatologist.They are interested in reptiles and amphibians, mostly snakes. I still can't find any references to the Deep Creek Gun Club, perhaps he is referring to the shooting range off of 173. His reference to hippie chicks was not a big deal in the context of his post.
I would like to know where that photo in his post was taken from.
