I think we are on the same page, the car accessible roads only, not all the way down to the pools. However, I believe technically you can ride a horse all the way in though. Maybe if you are local and have one.

This reminds me of something. My very first job out of school was for a management consulting company where we evaluated our clients on how well they treated their employees. Not sure if you're aware of the "top 100 best companies to work for" list that is published each year. That was us. Anyhow, we had to set a good example for our clients and therefore had some of the best and unusual perks offered to us, something I have not experienced since. The big one was free meals, every day. Breakfast, lunch and dinner cooked by a private chef. I gained 20 lbs in a few weeks as our chef was an Italian lady and made delicious food, but very heavy and rich. It's called a taxable benefit and by regulations we still needed to pay taxes on the food they purchased, which if I recall was only $35 per pay check, or every two weeks.

Anyhow, the Woodlands, Texas office had the most unusual benefit. As the area surrounding Houston does not have rigidly defined zoning, you had neighborhoods with houses on one side of the street and offices on the other. The office backed onto a park and had a horse riding trail. Some employees chose to ride horses to work each day. Hence the company had on staff a stable master to take care of them while you were at the office. You also needed to leave any weapons you had on you outside, not allowed inside the office building. One of the two best companies I ever worked at.
