Re: Sudent's jump from rocks proves fatal in Angeles forest

Reminds of the time I urged my 4 year old to swing on the rope swing at Deep Creek. Regrets followed immediately after she started swinging out. Thankfully she is a good listener and let go before she would have hit the rocks. Not a proud moment for me as a parent. Every second she was in the air, my heart felt like it was going to explode out of my chest. . Makes me wonder how my parents survived heart attacks as I was more daring & rebellious as a child than my own. To this day, my daughter still says that moment was one of the greatest ones in her young life. She's 6 now.
