Hwy. 173 to the rifle range is pretty good. After the rifle range ( @ 2 miles ) it has some large holes but is ok to drive carefully around. That warning you posted is reffering to the dirt portion of Hwy 173 which is closed by a large metal gate. If you look up at this gate you will see a security camera. Perhaps you will feel better parking where this camera can watch your car.
