What is the status of the roads (mainly the 173) up to the Bradford Ridge trailhead (I'm coming from LA)? I am planning on spending a few days down there since it's *hopefully* not crowded like it's been getting recently. I don't want to park at Bowen Ranch for $ reasons...

Also, are there still frequent break-ins at the parking area for Bradford ridge? A few years back I stopped going that way because there were so many break-ins...

EDIT: Also, just wanted to double check the copper pipe is still giving out that fresh water. I thought I'd double check, it would be a bummer to get there and not have enough water...
