Found a few more facts. Gertie was born in 1896 and passed away in 1987. Her middle name was Holm. Her husband was Warren, born in either 1878 or 1879 (two conflicting records) in Minnesota. He passed away in 1965. Middle name was Dyer.

Wahnita D. Reid

Copperopolis resident Wahnita D. Reid died March 10 at Sonora Regional Medical Center. She was 91.
Born in Los Angeles to Warren and Gertie Bowen, she was a longtime member of the Oakdale Golf and Country Club before moving to Copperopolis. She enjoyed playing golf and bridge.
She was an avid walker.
She is survived by her sisters, Pat Haller, of Utah, Olive Corrington, of Running Springs, and Bonnie Post, of Hesperia; daughters, Donna and husband Jerry Nation, and Barbara Cheney, all of Copperopolis; grandchildren and their spouses, Kerry and Pete Tjalsma, of Modesto, Robert and Dyana Moore, of Copperopolis, Mark and Polly Moore, of San Andreas, Matt and Kim Moore, of Fresno, Kathy Watkins and Sam Goldsmith of Manteca, and Sean, Amanda and Piper Reid, all of Utah; 14 great-grandchildren; and four- great-great grandchildren.
Mrs. Reid was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Reid; parents, Warren and Gertie Bowen; siblings, Gordon, Glenn, Roy, Jack and Sylvia Bowen; son, Edwin Reid; and granddaughter, Shari Cook.
A private service is scheduled.
Angels Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.
