Unfortunately, this is an isolated place and there are all kinds of people. What happened to you sounds pretty drastic. I have not heard about anything like that lately from anyone. One time a person had a backpack stolen at the springs.
This sounds pretty radical. That is one of the reasons why some people park at the Bowen Ranch. Mike does usually patrol and looks out for people who paid him. usually.
Anyway, I am extremely sad that you had such an experience. That must have been very unsettling after enjoying the serenity of the hotsprings.
This forum is now a way to track these trends and think about solutions. We all love deep creek hot springs.
