I'm amazed on how big some of the fish get, not so much upstream but in the immediate water near the hot pools. I mean the habitat is not that large. Maybe they are feeding off the trash :-) Or maybe they get there during the high tide season and get "stuck". Given that the average lifespan of a freshwater fish is 1-3 years, doesn't give much of a chance to migrate elsewhere. I don't know much about fish except how to steam them ...
