Trip reveiw Aug 7

With the week off from work and the original plan to head to the beach cutailed by the overcast coast I decided to hit the springs for a hike and soak. Having August weather in the 80's and low 90's in the desest is like stealing. I arrived at the ranch at 10 and saw maybe 8 cars parked. There was a freehiking couple applying suncreen for their hike and another couple having lunch at the table in the lot. The couple having lunch were very cool and we had a nice talk. The beautiful young lady was kind enough to apply suncreen to my back which saved me from a burn in that area. I hiked down and did not pass anyone leaving. When I arrived it just felt like a good vibe was in the air and that the day would be awesome. I crossed to the springs and I was correct. I pretty much stayed in the lowest pool and the stream for the day and kept meeting beautiful women and having great converstions.I had one near catastrophe when the top of my Fosters broke off before I could open the can. With the assistance of my helper from Fullerton we solved the problem and I enjoyed my one beer. I hiked out about 2. Beautifil weather, beautiful people, and a beautiful place. Not a bad way to spend a Wednesday.
