I enjoyed watching the Animal Planet series Monsters Inside Me. It's amazing how something so small can cause so much damage. In this case, what is interesting is that you can actually drink water contaminated with this organism and you will not get sick, however, put it near your nose, a different outcome may emerge. Still though 128 cases since 1960s is very, very insignificant (but then try telling that to her parents) ... and most of these cases were from the south-east. Puts into perspective that we also do not own this planet, but coexist on it with many different forms of life. The difference is these organisms have hundreds of millions of years of evolutionary advantage over us.
