NudistM32,
And anyone else who likes cold water on hot days. This is what I do in the hot summers. I have a 3 liter camelback that fits into a pocket in my backpack. Before I leave the house I put @ 1 quart of water into it and fill the rest of my camelback with ice from my fridge. Then the night before I put a water bottle and some gatorade into my fridge. When I leave the house I put one frozen bottle of gatorade and one frozen water bottle beside my camelback pocket. Then I put my towel around that for insulating power. I still have plenty of cold water all day long and at the end of the day as I head up the hill from D.C.H.S.
Thanks for that excellent report may you have many more ;~)
Mojave,
There is no need for filters on the water coming from the source springs at D.C.H.S. It is 99.9999999999999 pure H2O w/almost no minerals. Aint we lucky.
Happy Hot Spring ing !
