Re: Snake bite victim at Deep Creek

I recall someone saying the victim cut into his bite area and tried to get the poison out.
I was bitten by a water moccasin back in 1984. Thought I was gonna die. It hurt to breath and I spent 3 days in a hospital. The doctor said my appendix was blown up like a basket ball. That is how most snake bite victims die. I still have my appendix in case I get bitten again. :~o
The people camping on the beach skined the snake saying he was gonna give it to the victim. I wish they would comment here ? and tell their story.
