I do not appreciate any marking on the trail. The reasons as I understand that started this were some IDIOT from LA was worried about getting lost at night so they started marking up the trail. Too bad they could not easily be banned from out door activities. I have traveled this trail and all the others in the middle of the night including the Bradford trail and it is impossible to get lost. Find a basalt rock or a piece of very solid granite and bang on it. This will cause the very outer layer of granite to chip away and thus the graffiti is gone. Other wise we could wait about 30 years and weather will do it for you.
