Ron,

Just a quick question. I've always taken the (what I thought was the only) trail that dipped off to the right when your on the top of the ridge. Is there another one that heads off to the left? I don't remember ever seeing it? If it's an easier climb each way I'd certainly be interested in taking it!

JB,

As the others have said, there are plenty of rocks to stop and sit on if/when you get tired all along the trail - I'm familiar with a number of them. The first initial bit coming up out of the springs is a bit of a climb, then the middle portion isn't bad at all, then the last climb up to the parking area is a bit steep again. Just take it slow and easy and you and your wife should have no problems at all. Just think back on all the fun and enjoyment you had soaking and you won't even notice the trail!
