I make it in my Corolla with no trouble. In the rough spots just take it slow and easy. The stream will be cold and usually about thigh deep to waist deep. You are not allowed to camp at the springs but up at Bowen ranch it's $10.00. There are fire rings, bring your own wood, and some tables. Remember this is a clothing optional area. You will see naked people. Really being naked is the best way to cross the creek and enjoy the springs, some people even hike the trail down nude, myself included. Some rules are no fires at the creek/hot springs, no glass containers and pack out what you take down. Once you experience the beauty of the area you will be a life long addict. It is truly awesome! I may meet you there if I can work it into my schedule. My first time down I had a couple that helped me to learn about the area.
