And thank you, I should have said, for the info on which descent or path to take at that fork. I will try the less extreme way the next time. If you look at the map that Hiker posted and I repost here, it seems like the map at least considers the steep quicker descent the Bradford Ridge "path." I guess the whole hike really is on a "path" not a trail as it is so narrow and not much used.

One more thing: I decided to go yesterday, Friday, not just because weekday visits are my habit but also because in researching the Bradford trail I saw pop up almost immediately that a pretty large group is planning to use it to access the springs tomorrow, Sunday. 40 people? Wanted to avoid that! so FYI.
