You have to be careful going down to the Springs in the winter. I had a very good day soaking at the Springs one winter only to fall into the creek on my way out. It was about sun down and getting close to freezing when I slipped and fell while crossing the stream.. Wetting my backpack with all my dry clothes and boots. I hiked back to my truck in wet boxers and boots. The boxers and boots had iced up by the time I reached my truck! Be safe people and post some more reports from your day at the springs. I may head out there during the week. I'll be driving my white Ford Bronco.
