Parking at Bowen Ranch, you are going to experience a 1000 ft elevation gain coming out. The trail is most definitely not handicapped-accessible, please see it for yourself before trying to take along someone with no business being on the trail. Take her the second time you go if you then think you can get her to the hot springs - and back. Good luck.
