Current Conditions
Firefighters are continuing to improve fire control lines around the perimeter of the fire area and knocking down hot spots within the fire area. Caltrans crews are replacing damaged guardrails along the southbound lanes of Interstate 15. CalTrans has opened 3 lanes each direction of Interstate 15, with right lanes closed in both directions along with the northbound Kenwood exit. The California Highway Patrol cautions motorists to be careful traveling in the fire area and to be prepared for possible delays during the commute hours.
Fire officials are working to fully contain the fire by 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday November 6, with full control expected on Thursday evening.
