I rode that skyride a couple of years ago. Quite a veiw from up on top. My brother and I also climbed nearby Mt. Humphrey which is the tallest peak in Arizona. You can see to the edge of the Grand Canyon to the north and south to the Sedona area. The San Francisco Mtns are all part of a single very large ( over 16,000 feet tall ) volcano that blew its top. That whole area around Flagstaff is full of interesting volcanic features like lava tubes, cinder cones and large areas of black lava flows.
