Sept 23 visit

Hi! I just wanted to thank all the people who helped me nurse my dead battery and went out of their way to give me a jump start. I sincerely appreciate your help.

It took me 1.5 hrs today to come down. I collected 1.5 large bags of trash before giving up on the last leg of the trail due to some heat exhaustion. At the springs I spent few hours collecting trash from the lower upstream portion. I did not have any energy to do the upper part, downstream on both sides and the BR side of the beach.
I collected 5 full bags of trash from the upstream and left them by the community tree. Dave carried one but there are 4 left. On the BR side of the beach I bagged 5 more bags of trash most from the pile adjacent to the rocks. I thought to take it easy hiking back to my car with my leg cramps getting really bad but ended up collecting more trash from the portion of the trail I gave up earlier.
Please help the springs and carry out some of those bags.

The trash situation at the springs is getting worth. What do you think about a cleanup day in 3-4 weeks once the temperature cools down?
