I was there last Friday, 9/7/2012. The last minute I called in sick and decided to de-stess. I got a late start and arrived at the springs at 10:30. Free hiked all the way down and passed a couple along the way- she was top free. I had the entire DCHS to myself and decided to take advantage of a 30 minute soak in the womb until the couple I passed arrived. Us three were the only ones until two more couples arrived at about 12:00. I observed that the two new couples were friends of the first couple. I was the only person practicing full freedom, the rest were textile except the one lady who remained top free the entire day. A very quiet and laid back day with a total of seven people at the springs. However, by mid day it was bloody hot and during my hike out (I left about 2) I practically died of heat exhaustion. When I left the springs I had 3 liters of water in my camel pack and by the time I got to my truck at the freedom trail I consumed most of it. CARRY LOTS OF WATER for the hike out and stay hydrated with H2O and electrolites. I saw no one on my hike out nor did I pass any cars on the Bowen Ranch road as I left. My guess is it was an exceptionally quiet day - perhaps due to the weather. This weekend (9/1/2012) is going to be another hot one; I may head to Blacks instead.
