If anyone is traveling out of town I have personally found the Hilton Garden Inn in Victorville as a favorite. It is newer and if you want the lower rate just ask. My only complaint is the noise from footsteps if you stay on the second floor. If you have status with Hilton they upgrade to a suite. I also have stayed at the Marriott. The La Quinta is rated higher though for price/satisfaction.
