Pirate's cove in SLO is one of the best nude beaches I've ever seen. Can't recommend it enough. Can't wait to go back.

San Onofre: Latest report I heard is that Rangers are not ticketing nude sunbathers like they did last year. Allen Baylis has called for users to return to the nude beach. Most still just walk 100 yards further past the old nude beach to the border of the marine base and set up just beyond the border. The Rangers can't ticket you there, and the beach is the "same" and beautiful. But you are not really supposed to be there. Someone reported that last weekend or so the marines asked all the beach goers to leave the area, as sometimes happens. Some went back to the State Park side of the border and got nude on the old nude beach. A Ranger did drive his truck down, looked at the situation, and just turned around and drove away like the rangers used to do.
