Hey Jobe, what was going on with that Police helicopter circling over DCHS for so long last Saturday? I was wondering if it had anything to do with that very drunken young man who came by us and said that he was going to have to kill somebody there that day ( and he had a long knife in a sheaf in his shorts band ), then he looked at me and Johnny and said that it would not be us that he would have to kill. After that the drunken man's friend came up to us and asked what was going on and I told him about what his friend had said, and said his friend might say that to the wrong person and get a very bad reaction. His friend went looking for him and said he would talk to him ( the drunken man ). I did not feel like hanging around DCHS after that since you never know what some drunken kook saying stuff like that has going on in his head and what they will really do, like the massacre that just happened in Aurora, Colorado. Johnny and I were upstream exploring the creek and could see the chopper circling for a long time. Johnny also mentioned that when he got to DCHS in the morning a big Pacific rattler had struck at him while he was walking through the grass area above the Aniversary pool. He said it was not that close to him so he was supprised at how aggressive it was. Hopefully know one got bit by that snake ( possible reason for the chopper ). And when I arrived at DCHS the creek pool in front of the main hotpools and the creek heading downstream from there was bright green because some guys had put a dye pack in the pool. I took some pictures of that and will post here when they are up at Wizard's pictures.
