Ibcalrr, I have used wire brushes before and have found them to be pretty ineffective in general. Some paints are alot tougher than others. Like for example I have used a product called Goof Off before ( a general remover liquid ) and then scrubed the paint afterwards with a wire brush, and in most cases even this makes little headway. I would wipe up the excess remover, put it in a plastic bag and bring it home to be disposed of. Of course all the depressions and pores in the rock make it that much more difficult. Another regular used to paint over the graffiti with an assortment of paint colors which allowed him to blend it to the natural rock colors. I wish it were as easy as calling the graffiti paint team here in Apple Valley, who come to the graffiti location ( in the city limits ) within a week or so and cover it with a matching paint.
