Hey everyone! Just discovered this site. Was thinking about taking a trip to the springs tomorrow, and wondering how crossing the creek was going these days. Last time I went, I parked near Hesperia dam, and did the six miles on the PCT. Though the hike was lovely, I will never go this way again, as when I returned the next day I was greeted by two Rangers who informed me that my vehicle had been burned to the ground. And sure enough, My van was reduced to a hunk of smoldering frame. So be careful if your going to park at Hesperia dam and take the six mile hike, honestly, I would advise against it. Obviously the local police aren't paying much attention, they really didn't seem surprised that arsonists had attacked my car in the night. So, anyway, is the creek crossable near the springs from the Bowen Ranch side at this time of year?
Thanks guys, Europa
