I'm local and I love going to deep creek, but last year I just got grossed out and weirded out by the loud obnoxious disrespectful crowds. After a busy weekend I went and it smelled like a sewer-- someone even took a dump on the flippen path above the rocks in the grass--Yuck!!. So I immediatly headed up the PCT to the narrows, which is lovely in its own right.
Since then I have been kind of hesitant to go again. Last year it seemed to me that the hot springs was no longer the peacful place full of happy like minded people that it used to be and that over the last couple years it has changed drastically. What are your thoughts on this?
