I left Deep Creek hot Springs at 1 PM. The hike out was exceedingly hot and difficult - a hike I would not do if I didn't love this place. I finished the 2 liters in my camel pack on the hike to the Freedom Trail Head. Fortunately I had another gallon in the truck. In addition it is important to keep up ones electrolites as well. I have seen plenty of dumb-asses coming down to the springs getting dehydrated on booze and then trying to hike out.
