To all going, be warned:

A buddy of mine went hiking on Wednesday, on his short hike around the area he crossed paths with three rattlesnakes. They were the same kind (So. Pac. Rattler) that Zeus posted a pic of, and these three were a bit bigger and definately not friendly. He almost lost one of his hiking companions, his trained Assie Shepard to one of them.

If you plan on going, and bringing a dog... if it is NOT trained in snake aviodance, DON'T bring it! His dog is alive today only because it was trained.
